Having worked in car design for over 40 years, I felt the same essence in the movement and collisions of a hockey puck during the Olympic Games—something I've always sought in my designs as a designer. I began exploring various sports to understand that feeling.  And after 100 sketches, it evolved into the SUMO Kinetic Series.

My goal is to create images that embody the three words: Bold, Fast, and Rough. I want to capture in my drawings the way massive, imposing objects collide, roll, and scatter. In this age of AI dominance, I deliberately choose to stick to manual techniques, using rough brushstrokes to express a sense of atmosphere.
